April Chow is a Manager with Asurity Advisors. April works with client delivery teams to ensure successful planning and execution of engagements. She has over seven years of project management experience and her background also includes process development, administrative support, customer service, and office management.
April brings extensive project management expertise to the organization, having held progressive roles within a regulatory compliance consulting firm where she led multiple large-scale implementation and remediation projects, financial crimes monitorships, and various types of file reviews. She has managed projects from sourcing to project completion, including but not limited to project planning, resource recruiting, onboarding, training development, budgeting, status reporting, project governance, and quality assurance. Additionally, April was the program manager for an Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (“OCC”) mandated lookback review and remediation that required oversight of more than 300 resources, coordination with multiple external consulting firms, and regular reporting to the Bank’s senior management and executive teams. April has significant expertise in assisting clients with scaling large internal and external efforts, including managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines and numerous executive stakeholders. She has prepared and delivered project status reports to various audiences, including senior and executive management teams.
April has previously worked within a corporate services finance department to implement, roll out, and train an international company on the new time tracking/expense reporting/finance system. She has also worked with multiple stakeholders to create a mortgage servicing subsidiary and compiled all the documents to file the company. In 2019, April worked alongside the project lead to compile, edit, and update more than 70 chapters of the 2019 Reference Guide to Regulatory Compliance for the American Bankers Association.
April earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American University and has completed a project management certification from Georgetown University.
